Would you say that a scar only gets its color from the broken blood vessels? And if one is to get a Fraxel treatment, by healing the broken blood vessels, will the scar look less pigmented? Will it also help restore lost pigments?

Scar Treatments
Scars get their color from the amount of melanin (pigment) as well as blood flow (vessels). Blood vessels in a scar can be best diminished with a vascular laser (VersaPulse, V-Beam, IPL). It is difficult to repigment a scar but the Fraxel might help.
