I had a rhinoplasty just over 12 months ago. A few weeks ago I had a check up appointment with my surgeon and he injected my nose with some steroids in order to reduce the swelling/scar tissue. However, there is still swelling. It looks great in the mirror but on camera, it looks horrendous! It appears uneven, bumpy and big. Every bit of swelling shows up. Is it normal for my nose to look so terrible in photos this late into healing and is it normal for swelling to persist this late post-op?
