I Had a Breast Reduction W/lift but I'm Larger Now.....

I recently had a breast reduction w/lift. The PS used a small implant (175cc) but now my breast are larger then before the surgery- Bras PRIOR to surgery are too small. The office keeps telling me to 'wait' and if I'm not happy I can have the implants removed in 6 months. I'm at 8 wks now and I'm really upset. I feel as if the surgeon FORGOT to reduce my breast size and just did the lift!! The surgery was painful & I don't want to have to go through this again or wait 1/2 of a year! Suggestions?

Breast Size after Surgery?

Thank you for the question. It is in your best interest to wait at least 6 months (preferably one year) before making a final determination about your breast surgery result. Don't be surprised if you're pleased with the results at that time. Best wishes.

Breast lift and reduction and an implant?

I am not quite sure of the rational for putting an implant in if you went in to have reduction. Or did you just have a lift and implant?

Breast reduction and lift followed by small implant

IT really would be best to wait. IF you are distraught you could undergo deflation of one of the implants if is saline to assess your appearance., Keep in close contact with your surgeon.

Too Big After Breast Augmentation and Lift

I would recommend waiting.  It takes some time for the swelling to completely resolve especially from the muscle. When this swelling resolves the breasts become a bit smaller.   Dr. ES
