I Had a Breast Reduction and TT. Do the Scars Expand and Why?

I had a breast reduction and TT about 6wks ago. 2wks after surgery the scars started to expand. Is this normal? Also where the drains were removed, the skin protrudes. Also,my breast still are not even. The right is still quite a bit larger than the left breast. Are all of these problems typical results after surgery?

Still early in recovery

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give precise answers without seeing some before and after photos. At 6 weeks post op, things are still healing and so I would suggest that you allow yourself time to heal properly and follow up with your surgeon. Best Wishes! see video
