Allergic to MRI Dye

Hi, I had a CT Scan on my head last year and I had an allergic reaction to the dye, Visipaque. I broke out in hives and I was beet red. I am now having a breast MRI and it states I will be injected with a dye called Gadolinium. Are they the same dyes? If so what are my options? Thanks
