Will I be better satisfied in terms of feel (softer and natural) and appearance (less ripples) for another 10-15 years if I replaced the saline implants with cohesive silicone implants? I realize at my age, I need to either settle or make a decision so I'm doing some research.

Are cohesive implants less rippled and softer?

This is another good question. By cohesive you can mean either the silicone imlants that are now FDA approved and have a silicone that is similiar to honey. Or you can mean the next generation silicone implants (not yet FDA approved), like the Allergan style 410s, which are available through an FDA study and have a consistency more like jello. Pros and Cons of Saline vs. cohesive gel breast implants

You mentioned that you initially had an augmentation-mastopexy, using textured (Mentor) saline implants placed in a submuscular plane and are plagued with the usual sequela of textured saline implants, i.e. firm feel, palpable and visible ripples and possible downward displacement (?).
