Will Changing Breast Implant Placement Cause Sagging?

I have 425 cc's moderate profile saline implants filled to 535 cc's over the muscle. I have a little too much cleavage and some rippling. I want to exchange them for moderate + profile 450 cc's or high profile silicone implants 500 cc's. I don't want to significantly reduce size, or have them looking like balls on my chest. I want a little less cleavage. I thought about going under the muscle, but I've had my implants over the muscle for 10 years. A plastic surgeon said changing placement may cause sagging. I'm 5' 3" 110 lbs, without children. Suggestions?

General thoughts on breast implant placement

Hello, Talking implant volumes without seeing you and how the implants might sit is limiting. Going from "over" to "under" might leave you with some skin that could hang if not lifted. The ability after so long to go "under" might be limited by the condition of the muscle. The pressure from the implants lying over them for so many years might have affected their ability to be used as padding. Re-operation cases can be hard at times.

Any how, silicone would be what you would need. I would stay away from high profile if you dont want balls on your chest. They dont give much upper pole and... more

Breast Implant Size, Style, and Position Change

Your main areas of dissatisfaction are lateral edge rippling and excessive cleavage. Assuming that your breasts are quite soft (not significantly encapsulated), exchanging them for (I assume) Mentor moderate plus 450 or high profile 500cc would help with lessening the edge rippling. Silicone would probably be more helpful in this regard. Given your height and weight, I think that changing the style would fit your frame, giving you an attractive "perky" breast, instead of a... more
