Yes, the capsule will remain
The capsule is part of your body's tissue - it is a scar that forms around the implant. Therefore, if the implant breaks or even if it is removed, the capsule will remain. The capsule can only be removed surgically. There is no need to remove the capsule if it is not thickened and not causing any symptoms. If the capsule is thickened and causing discomfort and/or you are removing your implants, then the capsule can be removed surgically. Discuss your goals with your surgeon.

The capsule is the layer of collagen that forms around all implants so all implants are encapsulated. When an implant leaks or is deflated, the capsule will still be there but not under the pressure of the implant volume.
