I had memory gel 375 cc subgladular implants less thatn 3 weeks ago, and many women on this site they've been deathly ill after getting breast implants. What are the statistics of women getting deathly ill after breast augmentation? If it's so common, why aren't there more regulations to prevent this?

Not seen in common practice

I have been involved in plastic surgery for over 15 years and been an investigator for both implant companies for the FDA silicone adjunct studies and have not seen one patient who has become ill as a result of their implants and I have completed over 3,000 breast surgeries. All well trained board certified plastic surgeons would always protect the patient first.

It seems that regardless of the scientific facts, there are people who want to create emotional crisis for other patients. The data is very clear, there is no such thing a silicone poisoning.
