Loose skin after breast surgery

There is no good non surgical treatment except perhaps larger implants bigger implants will be heavier and stretch the skin more. mini lifts may be possible with periareola or lollipop methods

Loose Skin and breast implants

Without an exam and photos it is difficult to make a recommendation but there is no non surgical option available to tighten your skin envelope. Implant replacement and or breast lift is most likely indicated.

Non-surgical options for truly loose skin are limited.

If the breast skin is truly loose and sagging off an implant, it is unlikely for non-surgical options to correct this. If the issue is that the implant is falling off to the side when you lie flat, then a surgical tightening of the pocket within the breast is your best option. Even with implants, the breasts may sag as you age. Breast lifts are a reliable way to correct this normal aging process.

Non surgical breast lift options

I agree with the other surgeons that there are many good options for the very common and predictable problem of skin loosening and sagging with age. Non surgical solutions to loose breast skin

There are plenty of surgical options when the breast skin has loosened of the pocket is too large and the implant falls to the side off of the chest. For most though the pocket will have to closed off (capsulorrhaphy) to keep the implant centered within the breast. You may be able to have a fuller implant if you want the volume with a larger base diameter. Breast lift will adjust skin excess. No nonsurgical correction expect perhaps a well fitting bra. Answer to RealSelf.com question about sagging of breasts 5 years after augmentation

Without photographs and/or an examination, it would be difficult to give an accurate answer. However the two main possibilities include loose skin/increased envelope and/or an implant pocket that is too large. If you are sagging, a breast lift may be required. Sometimes the implant pocket is too large, allowing the implant to move too far to the side. If this is the case, sutures or capsulorrhaphy completed laterally decreasing the size of the pocket will be required.... more

Breast augmentation revision?

Thank you for the question. Pictures or direct physical examination will be necessary to give you good advice. However, based on your description it may be that a breast lift is necessary to tighten up the “drooping” breasts. if there is no significant excess skin present it is possible that a larger breast implant will fill the skin envelope negating the need for breast lift. Unfortunately there is no nonsurgical option (that is not a gimmick)... more
