Hello! I've been diagnosed with 3 fibroadenomas. They are benign, biopsy was taken. So the question is: to remove them I'll need three incisions (3 scars after), so i was thinking If i am planning to get breast implants some time soon anyways, could i possibly get implants and remove fibroadenomas at the same time? Thank you!

Fibroadenomas and breast implants are compatible--but not surgery for both at the same time.
You breasts obviously have fibrocystic changes (notice I did not say "disease" since about half of all women have fibrocystic breast changes). Just because you have 3 that are large enough to be felt at this time does not mean that they need to be removed, nor does it mean that you only have those 3 and will never get others--you WILL.

Fibroadenomas and breast implants
Yes you could have them removed and implants placed at thesame time. Fibroadenomas do not have to be removed. If they are small and can be easily followed by ultrasound that may be an option for you. They can do this at most comprehensive breast care centers which are now part of many hospitals.

Thus, have an thorough discussion with your surgeon about their thoughts on the safety, implant size, the...

Breast augmentation and fibroadenoma
Yes it is possible to have your breast augmentation and excision of fibroadenomas done at the same time. This is especially true if the fibroadenoma can be excised through the same incision planned for the breast augmentation. I would not suggest placing several incisions (scars) for treatment of the benign fibroadenomas.
Best wishes.
