I love asking questions on here. Thanks for being so helpful. It's been 3 weeks since my breast augmentation and I still feel a lot of weight/pressure when I sleep on my back at night (like 2 rocks on my chest) does this ever go away? Silicone gel under the muscle hp-incase you need to know. They still feel like rocks.

Give it some time and massage
Early after a submuscular augmentation, the implants may feel firm. This is not a capsular contracture. Rather it is just that the muscle and breast tissues have not stretched and relaxed to make the implants feel softer. This is more true for a high profile implant than a flatter implant. Your surgeon can also instruct you in massage to help the process go along a bit faster.

Breast implants should feel soft to the touch.
Hi.
If your breasts after breast implants feel like rocks when you touch them with your hands, that's bad. You will probably have a bad result. But if what you mean is that they feel like rocks against your ribs, that sensation almost always goes away.

Silicone implants
It is not uncommon to feel, at 3 weeks after surgery, that your implants feel firm. Most of this is due to swelling. Give it some time to heal. This usually gets better with time.

It is not unusal for your new implants to still have significant swelling as well as your pectoralis muscles still have some degree of spasm all of which can make your implants seem more firm than usual. You should begin to have some improvement in the firmness at this point (3 weeks) but you may still have a significant amount for another few weeks.

Will resolve with time
Your symptoms will resolve with time and as the healing process progresses. At the early stages of healing you are swollen and still getting used to having implants. Your tissues have to stretch and relax and also you will get more comfortable with your new size. Massage techniques that your surgeon can review with you can help speed the process along.
