Since December 2008, I've been sick and have chronic fatigue. I'd never been sick before in my life so I'm wondering, could it be because of my breast implants? Could my (cohesive gel) implants be making me sick?

I make it a point to "never say never," but this is unlikely. See a rheumatologist if you want this possibility of chronic discomfort after surgery explored.

Chronic Fatigue and Breast Implants
Silicone breast implantswere taken off the market in 1992 after a fear that the implants were causing generalized symptoms of fatigue and pain in patients who underwent a breast augmentation. After 14 years of intensive study, it was determined that none of these claims were valid. These symptoms were equally present (percentage) in patients of similar age and race who did not undergo a breast augmentation. Likelihood is not high
As long as there aren't notable problems with your breast implants, your best first step would be to make an appointment with your primary care physician for a thorough physical. Based upon all of the science that the FDA used to approve silicone gel implants, there is little evidence currently that would indicate theat they would make you ill. I hope you are feeling better.
