Options for hypersensitive breast following implant augmentation surgery

Breast implant displacement or scar massage may help desensitize and loosen or ease the discomfort. You may want to try several different garments .

Persistent pain in breast long after augmentation

Persistent sensitivity of the breast can happen although rare after a breast augmentation.   You may want to see a pain management physician who may assist you in resolving this or at least helping to improve the symptoms.

Persistent Pain After Breast Augmentation

Infrequently nerves are injured and produce unusual sensations versus just numbness.  If it has been 17 months this is unlikely to resolve at this time.  The recommendation I would give is to get a referral to a pain management specialist either from your plastic surgeon or your family medicine doctor. Nipple discomfort after breast augmentation is very rare.

Hi. I am afraid I don't have a solution for you.  The nerve to the nipple can be stretched or bruised, but symptoms usually go away after a few months. After 17 months, this may be permanent. A pain management doctor can give you nerve blocks, but that makes the nipples permanently numb. Sorry about all this bad news.
