If say , you have had a worn silicone implant with a stiff and calcified capsule, the surgery will cost more and the recovery more of a challenge. If your breast implants are relatively new and there is no significant capsular contracture, it may be possible to remove them in the surgeons office procedure room which would make the cost lower. If you have older implants that could be ruptured or if you need to have the capsules removed also, then the procedure may need to be done in an operating room and the cost will be higher.
