Brazilian Butt Lift Cost and Alternatives?

I have been considering a Brazilian Butt Lift. I am not sure what the procedures consist of but I am really shy on money. What is the average cost for this procedure and are there alternatives that I may look into that would give me similar results?

I really like the Liposuction procedure that is a part of the Brazilian butt lift. It sort of kills two birds with one stone. But can you please give me an estimate of what price ranges I will be lookin at?

How much will a Brazilian Butt Lift cost?

By far the most common question I am asked is the question of cost. Especially in today's world, this is obviously an important consideration, but the implication in most of these inquiries is that the person asking the question is not interested in anything else, unless his or her sense of having found a great price is satisfied.

This is very disturbing, on many levels. Whether it be a lawyer, an architect, or an engineer, you would expect to pay a bit more for a professional with a top-notch education, excellent training, and lots of experience who does quality work and has a reputation for treating people fairly. You would also think that most people understand that insisting on these qualities in a plastic surgeon is particularly important, considering that you will be putting your health and safety (to say nothing of your sense of beauty and personal satisfaction) in their hands.

Of course it is hard to blame the public, bombarded as we are by the constant media message that you can have it (!) and cheap!!

It is axiomatic that you generally get what you pay for in life, and also that if you search hard enough for something (like a bargain price) you will generally find it.

I guess my message to people interested in plastic surgery is that you should be searching for lots of things (price being just one of them--and not the most important one).

So, all that being said, how would a person best be able to cut through all the marketing mumbo jumbo and find the surgeon most likely to help them achieve their satisfaction?

What we're really trying to get to the bottom of is, how do you maximize your chances of getting the outcome you want, with safety, and a comfortable and pleasant experience?

First of all, it is important to understand that while your chosen surgeon is probably the most important factor in achieving the above, there are other important considerations as well.

Find a surgeon you really like FIRST. Too many patients search for a price they like, or for a surgeon who is willing to do a certain procedure on them (whether it is really in their best interests or not). First and foremost, you should be looking for a quality education, top-notch training in plastic surgery, with board certification BY THE AMERICAN BOARD OF PLASTIC SURGERY (there are many "boards", but only certification by The American Board of Plastic Surgery ensures that the surgeon has undergone the years of plastic surgery specific training and examination you want). Provided the surgeon has these qualifications, it is important that you like them and feel you can get along well with them--you are, after all, entering into an important relationship.

If these two criteria are satisfied, it's time to evaluate his/her work and expertise... ask to see examples of his/her work, and maybe even to talk to some former patients. They will be best able to tell you what it was like to be cared for by this surgeon. Whatever you do, remember that quality professional treatment (whether by a plastic surgeon, an architect, or any other professional) will carry a price appropriate for the surgeon's level of training and expertise.

Once you have found a surgeon you like, it is important to know about THE FACILITY, and who will be providing your ANESTHESIA. Having a great surgeon won't matter if the facility is less than safe, or if your anesthesia provider is under-qualified or suspect. Most good surgeons make sure the facilities and anesthesia providers they use are reputable, but this is not always the case, particularly as surgeons have scrambled (like everyone else) to save money in these more difficult times. It is very important that the facility is certified by either the JCAHO or AAAASF. These regulatory bodies inspect facilities for safety and cleanliness, as well as verifying the training of the personnel involved in your care.

Your anesthesia provider can be a qualified nurse anesthetist, or an anesthesiologist (a doctor of anesthesia). My personal opinion is that the additional cost of having an anesthesiologist present and managing your care is more than worth it.

So there it is--research the surgeon, the facility, the anesthesiologist, and get a feel for the surgeon's work and manner with his/her patients. You'll be glad you went to all this trouble in the long run!

Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian butt lift (fat transfer to the buttock) is so popular because it enables your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. Liposuction is performed over several areas depending on the individual patient needs, but typically of the flanks, abdomen, back and thighs. You currently have a very square shape (which is more common than most people realize).

The liposculpting will allow your surgeon to bring in your hips and waist giving you more of an hour glass figure. You already have some shape to your buttock and this will be able to be enhanced to give you a very attractive buttock. From the pictures you look like you have very good skin which will give you a great result from the liposcultping.

The amount of fat needed depends on the shape and needs of each individual patient, however in general at least 500cc per buttock need to be placed to see a significant difference. On average patients typically receive around 800cc per buttock side for a total of 1600cc of fat transfer. However just like a breast augmentation the amount of fat needed various from patient to patients. Also the sculpting done with the liposuction is a big part of the procedure to improve the overall shape.

However if a patient has a BMI of 22 they typically will have enough fat for the Brazilian butt lift. If they are smaller than this then they will need to consider doing an augmentation with implants.

The process of the Brazilian Butt lift is not only to add volume to the buttock but to transform the entire shape of the patient from a square appearance to more of an hour glass shape. It is about giving a patient a figure that she will look great in close or a bikini (for the patients here in Miami). The goal is not to just try and make the biggest butt possible. It is giving the patient a shape they will love for years to come!

When considering this procedure it is very important that you have your procedure performed by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Average Brazilian Butt Lift Cost

The average cost of a Brazilian Butt Lift in Toronto, Ontario, is about $8500. This includes everything, from the anesthetist's fees, surgical facility and liposuction. A butt implant can help enhance your contour, but it won't address the unwanted fat deposits.

COST OF BBL

Typically the only alternative to a Brazilian butt lift to increase the volume and/or projection of the buttocks would be to place implants into the buttocks.  However, I prefer the fat transfer process over implants as I feel it gives a more natural looking result.  The cost of procedures will vary from market to market and from surgeon to surgeon.  I do not recommend choosing a surgeon based on price alone because that old saying “you get what you pay for” can unfortunately prove true in some cases.  Research a plastic surgeon’s credentials carefully and only compare prices of surgeons that have the same qualifications.  Choosing a board certified plastic surgeon may cost a little more, but having a surgeon that is specially trained for these types of procedures can lower your risk of complications during and after surgery.  My office is currently running a special for $600 off of my surgical fees for the Brazilian butt lift.  We also accept financing through Care Credit.  Please contact my office and speak to one of my Patient Care Coordinators for more details.  I recommend continuing your research on RealSelf to find a board certified plastic surgeon.  Schedule a consultation to confirm that you are a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift and then get an estimate of how much the procedure will cost.

Be well and good luck!

Cost of Buttock enhancement

The cost is a range of $12-15k, all inclusive.

But do not decide to have surgery just on cost alone. Patients go ouside the USA for these surgeries because they are cheaper in mexico, or any south American city. They come with complications and etrange infections.

WHO WILL PAY FOR THE TREATMENT AND REPAIR OF THE PROBLEMS?

The same is true when you make your decsion about having sugry based on money only.

What if a revision is needed how are you going to pay for it?
