Palate Has Narrowed and Teeth Moved After Braces - What Should I Do?

I wore braces, and I wore my retainer religiously until 3 years ago when I lost it. During those three years I noticed my teeth slightly moving. Recently I found an old "extra" retainer I had; however, it does not fit anymore! What I noticed most is my mouth palate has narrowed and the width of my mouth is too tight for the retainer. What I have to fix is the narrowness of my mouth and the slight movement of my teeth. I received TWO different opinions from orthodontists I’ve seen. What form of treatment do you think is best?
