Will Botox Under the Eye Help with Watering of the Eyes?

Botox under the eye can make eye watering worse
if eye watering is not caused by excessive tear production, but a deficiency in tear drainage from loose or sagging eyelids not allowing the tears to be drained into the tear duct, then botox can make this worse.

There are many causes of tearing and botox is usually not the answer. Tearing is usually caused by either something is irritating your eyes (with reflex tearing) or the tear drainage system is blocked. You should consult with an ophthalmologist or oculoplastic surgeon.
You need a formal work up for your watering eyes.
There is a very specific treatment for water eyes cause by abnormally secreting tear glands. However this is an unusual situation. There are many potential causes for a water eye. For this reason, I recommend that you see an oculoplastic surgeon to evaluate you for this issue. The American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery maintains a geographic directory on their website to help you find a well qualified surgeon in your area.
