No limit to the number of treatments
There is no limit to the number of treatments over the years that someone can have. Very rarely, it is hypothesized, that some patients may develop antibodies such that the Botox is no longer as effective. This might be more common if the interval between Botox treatments is decreased to a month or so. Unless this happens, there would not be a reason to limit the number of treatments.

How much Botox can one person have?
I have never heard of an upper limit. Before Derms used it, it was being used non-cosmetically for muscle relaxation in vocal cords, limbs with spasticity, etc. in much much higher volumes than we would ever use.
I agree with others here that the more you do it, the less often you "need" it. It seems that your muscles remember to stay relaxed!

Limit on Botox
There is no limit as to how many times one can have Botox during their life time. However, at one time you should limit the dose to 100units at the most.
If you have been using Botox for a while you might not require it as frequently as every four months. You might need it every six months or so. But, creams will never subsitute for Botox.

As many times as you wish
I have been doing Botox injections since 1993 and have some patients who we have been treating this entire time. In my experience the longer you use it the longer the duration of treatment. We have seen no problems related to number of treatments.

Botox injection limits.
There are no suggestions that there are limits on the number of times one can have Botox. In fact, some reports have recently been published with patients who have received it over a 20 year period with no adverse side effects.
In some instances, inidividuals who have repeated injections may demonstrate a form of tolerance and may require additional doses performed at more frequent intervals and at higher concentrations. Of course there are suggested limits to doses and quantiities recieved...
