I am guessing that the products used for your detox are supplements, which do not have to be FDA approved. It is hard to say their effects on your system. If you are cleansing and not taking in enough nutrition, it may be more likely for you to have a pre or syncopal episode during the procedure. I can not imagine that there is any relationship between botox and your cleansing regimen. Although botox is a “toxin” so to speak, I do not see why there should be any contraindication to doing the two simultaneously should that be convenient for you. Botox has been around for over 30 years and there are a multitude of studies showing its safety. Toxic doses of botox are far greater than those used to treat cosmetic patients and you should not be concerned. You can enjoy both simultaneously if you so choose. Thanks for your question.
