Board certified means additional training in tooth movement..
I believe all Orthodontists are board certified. Some like to flower up their resumes and websites by stating the obvious about their credentials. Im a board certified general dentist also but I dont put that in my title. I do orthodontics in my practice every day but im not board certified in that field, so I cant call myself an orthodontist...hope this helps..
