Options for keloid improvement
There are many ways to treat keloids. Excision, is certainly an option, but may simply lead to recurrence and possibly bigger, more visible scars. A better method may be dilute cortisone injections with liquid nitrogen freeze to help penetration. I always remind patients that improvement, not perfection, is the goal. As always, see someone who has experience in dealing with these kinds of scars.
