Biocorneum Gel or Cream For Breast Surgery Related Scars?

I am using biocorneum for the scars related to my breast surgeries. I had breast cancer and then a lift and implants. I bought the cream from my surgeon and then found it less expensive on line. The Biocorneum from my doctor is a cream, the Biocorneum from the online doctor is a gel. Is there a difference and if so, which is the better of the two?? Thank you Linda
