Bilateral Ectropion Repair on the Lower Eyelids and the Bags Are Still There

I had bilateral ectropion repair on the lower eyelids and the bags are still there 4 weeks after the surgery. How long after that type of surgery do the bags go away?

Ectropion repair is not intended to fix lower eyelid bags

Ectropion repair is not intended to fix the bags. This surgery is performed to minimize outward rotation of the eyelid margin only.
