Few months ago my friend got BA with silicon implant of 365 cc hp so I decided to get mine and today is my 17th day post op. I got 400 cc moderate implant. I havent seen my friend new breast so I have no idea how it looks like but someone told me that my friend`s breast is bigger than mine and she cant believe that mine is 400 cc. I am wondering why a 365 cc hp is bigger than 400 cc moderate? We both same in height and her body is way bigger than mine..I chose 400cc coz I wanted bigger than her
Answer: Same Implants Do Not Equal Same Breasts Volume is volume so 400cc is larger than 365 cc's. However #highprofileimplants have more projection and less width. Here is a more detailed explanation: It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing #breastaugmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 365 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the following link.

Answer: Bigger implants? Thank you for your question.The implants size is largest than the other regardless if it´s high profile or moderate profile. The size normally looks different because of the fat tissue inside the breast. This is a big factor when it comes to sizing the breast implant too.

Moderate implants are wider in dimension and will not project as much- this may be why there is a difference. You must also consider that everyone's chest wall anatomy is different. Even though she is "larger", her chest wall may sit higher than yours so her implants will project more.

Answer: When comparing breast results with friends you have to know what your friend started with in terms of native tissues. A 400 cc implant is ALWAYS larger than a 365 cc implant but the dimensions are different between the two you are comparing. I would speculate your friend had more tissue to start with resulting in the difference... or it could be an illusion due to her higher profile.
