I cut my shin open a couple times in CrossFit - long story shot, got a staph infection, twice. The antibiotics I took caused further skin irritation when I developed allergies to them. This all happened 3 years ago - anything I can do now to get rid of this ugliness? And who do I need to go see to treat this (hematologist, dermatologist, plastic surgeon???)? Can't tell if this is bruising or skin hyperpigmentation. My dermatologist prescribed me hydroquinone, but it only helped minimally.
