The Best Breast Implants for You

+2

By asking about the best breast implant on the market, your question may have several components; safety of the implant, longevity and appearance. All of the current implants on the market in the U.S. have been studied extensively and determined to be safe and effective by the FDA. That applies to both saline and silicone implants. In terms of longevity, all implants have the risk of needing to be replaced at some time and should not be considered lifetime devices.  One brand of implant is not superior than others in this regard.  Achieving a natural appearance with breast implants is very possible with either saline or silicone implants by either manufacturer; this one is highly dependent upon the skill of your plastic surgeon, implant size and placement, and your own personal goals. There is really not one best implant manufacturer, but by selecting your surgeon carefully you should be able to achieve excellent results with any FDA approved brand of implant. The two main implant manufacturers available in the U.S.  market at this time are by Mentor and Allergan. The best breast implant has more to do with your own specific needs and goals, than the manufacturer of the implants.  Good communication with your plastic surgeon will help you find what's best for you.

Best Breast Implants

In my opinion both Natrellle breast implants and Mentor breast implants are very similar in profile, performance and durability.  Both products historically have been satisfying to both surgeons and patients. I strongly recommend selecting your surgeon based on training, experience and aesthetic sensibility rather than on the basis of which brand of breast implant they typically use.

Hello,

Unless you are doing advertising for one of the two big US implant companies, they are pretty similar. That is not to say that some poorly made import implants are of the same quality though. I would say stay with the FDA-approved devices and you should be OK.

First off, everyone is different and has different needs. There are no 'best implants' because it depends on what you and your doctor think you need. If you are thinking about getting implants talk to different doctors, find the one that works for you, and then see what your 'best implants option' is.
