Can I Use Benzoyl Peroxide After CO2 Fractional Laser Treatment?

I used Benzoyl peroxide as my acne regimen befor my CO2 fractional lase procedure. I stopped it because the MD told me so. I just wanna ask if is it safe to use benzoyl peroxide after my CO2 farctional laser treatment. I'm afraid that Im gonna have acne breakout if won't continue my benzoyl peroxide acne regimen...
