Barrier cream is often used before spray tanning sessions to protect the skin from absorbing excess solution in areas that are more porous.
By putting a layer of lotion on these areas, it prevents too much solution from getting into the skin, yet just enough for it to blend with the rest of the body.
If you don’t like to use barrier cream, I recommend an Infinity Sun customized spray tanning session where the spray is controlled and customized to your body, without the need for any other preparation than what you do before you go to the salon.
