Becker Implant Port Location

I have had Bilateral Mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. My Plastic Surgeon is performing a Single Stage Breast Construction on me using Becker Implants (Gel & Saline). The Filling Ports are located in the center of my chest where my sternum is and are causing severe pain. Is this a typical location for the ports and is constant pain normal?

Becker Implant Port Location

Choice of location of the port is your surgeon's decision. I place mine inferior below and lateral to the inframammary fold. The compliants are due to the elastic in the bras.
