Bad Smell and Weeping from Belly Button 4 Months After Tummy Tuck
my belly button has weeped from day one, and it stinks, my surgeon is not bothered, as much as I am. My bikini line has 2 holes in still, and they weep endlessly. I have had 3 stitches poke out from one of the holes and he has cut them each time, now I have another stitch coming out! I see him tomorrow. He puts silver nitrate on the holes and my navel and says off you go! I cannot wear nice clothes and my bedding needs changing daily. I got out the shower and bright red blood just poured out!

You need to get a second opinion if your surgeon not taking care of the problem
You should be healed fully by now and having discharge and wound problems 4 months post surgery in not normal. You need to ask your surgeon to explain to you the treatment plan and if you are not satisfied, get a second opinion from another board certified plastic surgeon.

Draining belly button after tummy tuck
It sounds as if the permanent sutures for the muscle repair and/or the fascial repair have become colonized. This does occur and is usually treated by removal of the sutures.
