Back Hair Causing Back Acne?

I am a 24 years old, male and have been enduring back acne breakouts for the last few years. I did not have this problem until I got back hair.
I saw a dermatologist and they just gave me an antibiotic and a back wash. Would it be best to get my back waxed on a regular basis to help prevent the acne breakouts?
I do sweat a lot because I work outside and it's hard to stay clean all day.

It could be folliculitis
If it is folliculitis from ingrown hairs, then laser hair reduction is the treatment of choice. Waxing will actually worsen it. Talk to your dermatologist and discuss the issue more before deciding on a treatment course. Good luck.
