How Can I Avoid Getting a Tear in the Corner of my Mouth from Taking Invisalign Aligners in and Out?

I have a small mouth and am only wearing the aligners at night so that the tear can heal.

Avoid Getting a Tear in Corner of Mouth from Invisalign Aligners

First of all, if you only wear the aligners at night, they will NOT work. They must remain in your mouth at least 22-hours EVERY DAY. Go over with your dentist a better way to remove and place the aligners without stretching your mouth.

I'm just wearing the aligners at night for a week until the cut heals. Otherwise the tear keeps opening up every time I take the aligners out for meals.
