What's the Average Cost of Punch-excision for Large Pores?

I have one large-ish pore (probably no more than 2mm - I'm the one in white) on my cheek that I am looking to get removed. I had a consultation with a plastic surgeon last week and he quoted me $600 (usd) to do the ONE pore via punch excision/stitches.

I thought it was obnoxious but figured this was the 'going rate'. After looking online, it seems the average cost is $50 per punch, with the most expensive being around $200. My appt is Monday afternoon and I'm starting to think I've been ripped off. Help!
