I have to have a revision tummy tuck done and my doctor is requiring me to pay only for the anesthesia portion. Was wondering what the average cost is for that? I'm thinking that it is based on the number of hours for the surgery. Thanks.

You are correct! The costs would vary with the time and the anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist. Typcially this would run from 2 - 3 hours.
