I am wanting to get a full tummy tuck as well as a liposuction. I am wondering, am I a good candidate for Avelar Tummy Tuck? I workout and have a good diet but have been stretched due to pregnancy.

Hybrid tummy tuck
Women who qualify for a Hybrid tummy tuck do not have any hanging skin, which you do have. You will be best served by a full tummy tuck. There are many fine surgeons in your area.
My colleagues are spot on: don't be sucked into a named procedure. Use your comon sense: if you already have loose hanging skin, how will a procedure that doesn't remove much skin be the best procedure for you?

An Avelar Tummy Tuck will not provide you with the correction you need
You will do best with a full tummy tuck under general anesthesia (not under local as with an Avelar procedure). This will allow removal of the lax skin from the umbilicus to the pubis, tightening of the muscles, and contouring with liposuction, and will give you your best correction. The scar will extend from hip to hip but can be positioned low so you can wear a two piece bathing suit. You will need 1 to 2 weeks to recover and 4 to 6 weeks before strenuous activity. Seek out an experienced...

Don't be fooled by marketing gimmicks
Most qualified, successful plastic surgeons avoid catchy names for their procedures. You need a tummy tuck with liposuction of your waist line. You can call this whatever you like. Don't worry about the name of the procedure. Focus your time and energy on finding a qualified plastic surgeon who has experience in body contouring and who you feel comfortable with and let him guide you. Good luck!

Stick to the tried and true
Thanks for the picture. Based on you picture you are a good candidate for full adominoplasty. The Alvelar abdominoplasty uses principles of a mini abdominoplasty and liposuction. That is not going help you achieve the look you want. Visit a couple of board certified plastic surgeons to get some opinions.
Good luck.

If an operation needs a cute name to attract you, you should be wary of the surgeon...
Hi there-
You need a tummy tuck. Period.
Any time I hear of procedures with cute names (lunchtime lipo, quicklift, lifestyle lift, etc...), I cringe, because in almost EVERY case, the reason people have described it to you using this cute and catchy name is because the person offering to do it on you is under or un-qualified.
The idea is to convince you that they can offer you an operation no one else can, and by doing so maybe also make you not notice that they lack the necessary credentials or

You need a tummy tuck
There are many ways to do tummy tucks and all work. Some techniques work better under some conditions and others under different conditions. Ultimately you need removal of excess skin, tightening of the muscles and probably some liposuction. Call that what you want but that is what you need. Don't get impressed by "named" procedures.

Full tummy tuck only will correct your stomach.
Hi.
I think it is best to avoid operations with a trade mark or a catchy name. That's just marketing. You really need a full tummy tuck. Anything less will disappoint you.

Tummy tuck candidates
You're an excellent candidate for a full tummy tuck based on your photos. You may also require some liposuction of the flanks to further refine your contours. See a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area who can describe the procedure in detail. Good luck, /nsn.

Avelar Tummy Tuck
Too little knowledge is a really dangerous thing. You are asking for a Brazilian originated hybrid liposuction and tummy tuck. The problem with this procedure is that a lot of women are not really good candidates for it. To preserve the blood supply to the skin AND perform liposuction, the muscle repair and skin undermining are NOT done as aggressively as they would ordinarily be done. While this procedure MAY work in some petite women with minimal muscle laxity , it will NOT produce a...

"Named" tummy tucks don't mean anythinf
You need a full tummy tuck, not a name brand job. This is because you have muscle laxity far above the umbilicus and significant laxity and stretch marks of the skin. Your's is a simple issue, don't get sidetracked by named procedures. There are many great plastic surgeons in GA who can help you.
