Microdermabrasion: Q&A

Ask a Question

Is At-home Micodermabrasion Safe While Breastfeeding?

I am interested in buying a Microdermabrasion kit. It is aluminum oxide crystal that you can mix into soaps or lotion. I am planning to use this for treatment of hyperpigmentation (small brown spots two shades darker then me) on my legs/arms/back.

I was going to attempt to use Glycolic peels but I was told that was unsafe while nursing. However, I have not gotten information on Microdermabrasion. My daughter is one, if that makes a difference. In the town I live in, professionals are not familiar with treating dark skin so I am stuck with trying this at home.
