Breast lift WITHOUT the verical incision
A breast lift can be done with a variety of incisions. The goal is to produce more aesthetically attractive breasts. Avoid vertical incisions since the scars are very visible and widen in time. The minimal incision required is around the areola, but this technique will only give you a minimum lift. If you need a large breast lift, then you will need The Ultimate Breast Lift, the incisions are around the areola and an incision under the shadow of the breast. This...

Incisions for Breast Lift
The incisions for a breast lift depend on the amount of ptosis (sagging) of the breasts. The incisions can vary from just around the areola, around the areola and down the lower center of breasts (lollipop), or around the areola and down the lower center of breasts and in the crease. (anchor). Having a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon will help determine which lift if any is best for you.

Breast Lift Scars Vary
Hi there-
There are many different techniques described for the re-shaping and lifting of women's breasts, and so it would not be possible to responsibly guess which technique would be best for you without a better understanding of your goals and your current examination.
It is very important to your long term happiness, however, for you to understand the following:
Not all breast lift techniques change the shape of the breast in the same way- each changes the shape in a...

Breast lift techniques defined
First of all the term "cut" denotes an incision made with out planning or forethought. There are many elements to a successful breast lift surgery. The surgery itself must take into account your individual breast anatomy, size of breasts, quality of skin and breast tissue and the degree of breast ptosis or sagging. There are many techniques that are used for breast lift surgery and this can only be determined at the time of your consultation with a plastic...

Breast lift
Breast lift surgery varies with the technique. Skin incisons can be around the border of the areola only advancing to more involved skin incisions that place a vertical incision down the center meridian of the breast and some extending under neath the breast fold like an inverted "T". Usually one of several varieties of breast tissue incisions and repositionings are performned internally as well.

Breast Lift Skin Rearrangement and Scars
There are four fundamental types of breast lifts which differ in how much lifting results and the amount of scar they create. But in all of them, it is primarily a skin cutting procedure that moves the undelying breast mound and nipple around the overlying skin that has been excised, redraped over the uplifted breast mound and closed. The resulting scar patterns are either limited to just around the areola and also extending downward into the lower breast crease.

Incision for Breast Lift
The goal of a breast lift is to improve the shape and symmetry of the breasts, while maintaining optimal blood supply and sensation to the nipples/areola. The incisions are designed with this concept in mind. As a surgeon, we first determine how many centimeters we need to raise your nipples and then design an incision to reshape/rebuild the breast around this "new" nipple position. Depending on the amount of nipple elevation necessary, a breast lift can...

Scars and mastopexy
As you have already heard most go around and down and sometimes in the crease also. the one I find most valuable is with the scar only around the areola. sometimes known as the Benelli. This is not for everyone But if you find someone in your area that really likes this operation And does a lot of them It may save you significant extra scarring.

Vertical breast lift with lollipop scar is best for most women.
Hi.
1) For most women, the best approach is a scar around the nipple with a straight line under the nipple (lollipop). This gives great long term shape.
2) If you also want implants, then just a circle around the nipple is usually enough.
3) Almost no women need the old fashioned anchor shaped scars.

Breast Lift Scars
There are a variety of incisions thta can be used to reshape and lift the breasts, but I have found a tennis racket or-lollipop shaped scar to be the most useful.
In the best secenario, the techniaue allows the rearrangement of your own tissue to provide more fullness at eh top of the breast. In other cases, an implant may be needed to obtain that fullness.
Conversely, the technique is versatile enough to also be done while slightly reducing the breast size if you desire.

Breast Lifting Incisions?
Thank you for the question.
Breast lifting involves some amount of skin excision. The skin excision serves to “tighten up” the breast skin envelope. How much skin needs to be removed will depend on each specific patient's situation. In other words, some patients require more “lifting” and have the need for additional incisions. Generally, these incisions range from around the areola, vertical breast incisions, and transverse incisions...

Incisions for breast lifts
The most common incisions for breast lifts are around the areola, down the middle and in the crease. Sometimes the crease incision can be kept short or eliminated depending on your anatomy. The scars are necessary to reshape the breast and they are covered easily in bathing suits and undergarments. It is a trade off of shape for scar.
