What type of antibiotics are common for liposuction and brazilian butt lift surgery? (before, during(IV) and after these surgeries) Is levofloxacino/lefloxin/levaquin given? (I think there are one in the same) Is there any other drug besides this one that can be administered because I have been reading adverse reactions and wonder if it is safe?

Brazilian butt lift and antibiotics

I have switched from using penicillin-based postoperative antibiotics to the Cipro are Levaquin. And I've done this because these drugs have a broader spectrum of action against infections that the penicillin-based drugs don't cover. Most of the time the postoperative drugs are given for short time and should not cause you some of the complications their associated with prolonged treatment the drugs.
