Do I Need Another Ptosis Surgery, Will It Work Properly This Time (photo)?

I have congenital ptosis in my left eye. had a surgery at age 6 and one at 20, the second time the doctor mistakenly did a double eyefold surgery so i had to do a third one. it doesn't close all the way so it hurts after sleep. the doctor said the only method left is to get a tissue from my leg to use it to lift my eye. but it will not close properly. will all ptosis surgeries, regardless of the method, lead to this problem - the eyelid cannot close all the way and it looks weird when i blink?
