Anesthesia Risks During Plastic Surgery
I am afraid of anesthesia risks, especially not waking up from the anesthesia and developing blood clots. Are clotting agents given after plastic surgery? Should I be this worried about possible anesthesia risks?

Anesthesia risks
There is risks with any procedure. If you have your procedure in an accredited office, surgical center or hospital your risks of having a problem are less. Unfortunately things can happen but if the doctors are prepared with medications and extra help if need be, you will be fine. Problems are more out to occur when people try to cut corners, save money and put the patients at unnecessary risks.

To lower your risks, seek a qualified anesthesiologist or anesthetist.
Yes, you should be concerned but this does not mean you should be worried. Local anesthetics are associated with a lower risk of serious complications but not all procedures can or should be performed under local. Just as you should seek out a qualified surgeon, you should seek a qualified anesthesiologist. This is probably your best approach to minimize your risks.
