Mayb a weird question, But botox blocks the neurotransmitters that are going to your muscle to move. And xtc is freeying neurotransmitters that are going to your muscle to move. I was wondering, what is the effect of xtc on the botox? Is it dangerous? (because of the block/free effect). Does the botox wear off earlier? And if your brain does not make new neurotransmitters anymore, is the botox then in your muscle forever? Because then there are no neurotransmitters to make the muscle move right?

The masseter is a very bulky muscle, and so it does require a higher dose of Botox to relax it than the dosages typically used to treat the muscles of facial expression. A very typical starting dose is 25 units/side. This will achieve full treatment in about 80% of patients.
