Is it true that Allergan style 20 500cc is too flat in projection at a 5.2 vs. style 20 475cc and 550cc in projection?

These breast implants are fine.

Hi! In New York, we happen to use Mentor breast implants for breast augmentation.  But the short answer to your question is no, they are not too flat. The important thing is to pick the right implant for YOUR anatomy, and an expert plastic surgeon can do that.

Specific breast implant projection

It is not too flat, but you may be lookimg for a different projection in relationship to breast width. You can't make that decision with a bunch of "experts" typing. Go in for a consultation, or better yet a few consultations and discuss this with a surgeon certified by the AMERICAN BOARD OF PLASTIC SURGERY. You can find one in your area. Good Luck.

Is style 20 500cc implant too flat?

No. Compared to the 475cc implant, the 500cc has 25 more cc in volume, is 0.4cm wider and because the volume change compared to the width change is relatively small, the projection of the 500cc implant is less than that of the 475cc. All of the sizes you mentioned have good projection. However, the most important measurement is the width. I caution most primary augmentation patients against high profile implants as they can lead to adverse affects on the breast tissues over time. more
