I have a mass in my lower abdomen beliw my belly button, above the pubic area. My gyn said he doesnt think its female related and it could be a lipoma. It isnt really visible but i have a lot of pain. Its been about 1.5 years. I have pain in my back, legs, abdomen, and bladder/bowel issues. I have a previous ovary/tube removal in the c-section cut fashion 12 years ago. I am over weight. Any info appreciated. I'm petrified. CT Scan tomorrow.

Answer: Can a lipoma be non visible in my abdomen, or another benign tumor?
It would be unusual for a lipoma in the temple area to affect the size of the eye. Judging by the size of the mass in your photo, I would doubt that if it is a lipoma, that it would influence the size of your eye. If the lipoma bothers you, it could be surgically removed.
You have two reasonable options:1. Go back to the doctor who performed the procedure.2. Cut the stitch that is "hanging out" flush with the skin. You should not try to pull out the stitch, as this could be painful and could result in a larger open wound.
Hi there,There are no proven medications, diets or exercise routines that will help you prevent the formation of new lipomas or make the old ones stop growing. If they become too big or hinder in your day to day activities you might have to have them removed. Otherwise just leave them alone.
