Aligner Irritation Inside of Mouth

I started using the aligners 48 hours ago. The inside of my mouth seems quite irritated, especially the inside of my cheeks. Will this subside? The expectation was set that I would have this for about a year. I have 21 sets, which would tell me 42 weeks. Any reason why this is off? Is it possible to accelerate the schedule? Also, any chance I can change out the trays faster than 2 weeks if I keep diligent logs calculating actual time wearing the aligners?

Invisalign irritations should subside

Anytime you have something new in your mouth, especially, there is an accommodation period where there may be soreness or even some irritation to the surrounding tissues.  Having worn aligners myself and having treated hundreds of cases myself, I can tell you that both of these issues diminish or go away after several weeks.  The aligners are overall much more comfortable than braces, so hang in there with Invisalign and I am sure you will be over this phase very soon. more
