Long term effects of fillers
There was a study showing that some fillers (hyaluronic acid) may actually increase the amount of collagen. Other than that, the temporary fillers all "disappear" over time and should not leave any "holes". It is interesting that our faces change over time, with loss of volume in certain areas, so over time, you may notice these changes as the fillers wear off.

Fillers long term
Fillers used long term should not cause any long term problems once they dissolve. Patients of mine have been using them for years.
