After Vi Peel I Noticed Tiny Pock Marks That Weren't There Before, Permanent?

Fair, beautiful skin with some minor sun damage. Tried a vi peel and now I have a few small pock marks on my cheek and hyperpigmentation on cheek bones! What happened? Why can I do to correct this? The professional I used said the peel revealed those pock marks, but I never had acne on my cheeks. I just sick about this. She recommends ipl to correct, but now I am terrified of doing more damage to my face. Right now I am applying a bleach creme, but I feel horrible about my face and my decision.
