Your wrinkles should not look any worse after the Botox wears off as it did before using Botox. It may feel worse because you are not used to seeing them.

Are wrinkles worse after Botox or Restylane wear off

When you have Botox or Restylane and it goes away, no, your wrinkles are not worse than they were before you had the procedures done. Your body will continue to age though, so if you, say, have had Botox or fillers for like 5 years or more, and then stop, then yes, your body should have aged and you may notice your wrinkles are "worse", but the Botox or Restylane does not cause this. Aging, sun, life, etc. do.

Do wrinkles get worse following treatment with Botox?

The wrinkles will not get worse following treatment with Botox. It may actually prevent wrinkles down the road. For example, if an individual frequently frowns, the Botox can decrease the frowning, thus decreasing the lines that will appear in the future. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck.

Botox and fillers do not worsen wrinkles

While botox and fillers do not halt the aging process, the treated wrinkles do not worsen from these procedures. In fact, many believe that using botox helps prevent wrinkling in the treated area and that using fillers can stimulate collagen deposition.

Restylane and effectiveness

Your wrinkles don't get worse after either the dermal filler or neuromodulator (Botox) wear off, but they are apparent because the volume is gone, and the muscle is working again. Timely treatment is best for longevity and keeping those lines at bay.

Botox and Restylane

Once the effects of Botox and Restylane slowly wear off, you will return to your previous self and will of course continue to age. Most physicians take before treatment photos so you would be able to compare your appearance with your before photos.

Wrinkles after Botox and Restylane wear off

After your Botox and filler wear away you will just be back to yourself and a little older. Some fillers will build collagen(Radiesse, Sculptra) and these might leave you with a little more collagen even when the material has worn out.
