Rhinoplasty: Q&A

Ask a Question

How Soon After a Rhinoplasty Can I Start Exercising So That I Do Not Cause Excessive Swelling?

Exactly three weeks ago, I had rhinoplasty overseas. My doctor never told me when I could resume exercising. When is it safe for me to resume exercising without causing more swelling to my nose? My nose is already swollen. By the way, I weight lift, and I don't use free weights so the odds of me hitting my nose are minimal. As for bleeding, I have elevated my heart rate several times while having sex with my girlfriend, so I don't think I will be subject to excessive bleeding. Thanks Chris

Exercising after Rhinoplasty

Every surgeon has there own instructions regarding exercise after rhinoplasty surgery. Recommendations will also vary depending on what was done during the operation. I suggest you contact your surgeon who will outline your exercise regimen.
