Squinting

Eye lubrication is key to protection and exercises over time will improve your condition. Have you seen your surgeon and explained your concerns?

Squinting after sling procedure

A photo would be helpful. The ptosis sling will hold your upper eyelid up and make it harder for you to close it forcefully. Often, the lower eyelid will reflexively be brought up, making the eyes appear more "squinty" and you may try and hold the eye further closed to reduce dryness and irritation. Keep the eye well lubricated and this should subside.
